Since 1975, Debra has been a driving force in Middle Tennessee’s commercial real estate market. She founded The Stanton Group, Inc. in 1986 and continues to serve its customers as a real estate broker and asset manager. Debra has excelled in both property management and brokerage with extensive expertise spanning office, retail, flex, and mixed-use properties. As a trusted authority in Middle Tennessee’s commercial real estate market, Debra serves as a valuable resource for employees, brokers, and clients, providing expert guidance and mentorship which is a key driver to growth and success. Her extensive knowledge and experience continue to shape the industry, making her a respected leader in the region.
Throughout her career, Debra has received numerous accolades, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), “Heavy Hitter” recognition in the local market, and a “Woman Business Owner of the Year” finalist nomination. She has also been named one of the “Williamson 25” and a “Woman of Influence” by the Nashville Business Journal. Debra’s leadership roles include serving as President of the Institute of Real Estate Management in Nashville and as a charter member of Women in Commercial Real Estate.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Debra earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 1986 and later achieved the respected Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation in 2021, demonstrating her dedication to excellence in commercial real estate.
